Unemployment Compensation
The Unemployment Compensation Program is operated by the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation. Unemployment insurance provides temporary wage replacement benefits to qualified individuals who are out of work through no fault of their own. Veterans Services
The Agency for Workforce Innovation oversees a Veterans' Program, which aims to promote and maximize the employment of Florida's veterans, especially veterans with barriers to employment, utilizing the complete menu of One-Stop Career Center resources. Youth Services
Workforce provides a variety of services to help youth meet employment goals in three key areas:
Out of School Youth
Out-of-school youth between 18 and 21 years old may be eligible to receive financial assistance for training, support for post graduation certificate testing and other employment-related support services. Strengthening Youth Partnership
Strengthening Youth Partnerships is a new Florida initiative to increase success with finding employment for youth who are aging out of foster care and for youth who have been involved in the court system. Educational Partnerships
Developing a skilled workforce, beginning with a quality educational system, is a priority for our region. Workforce provides staff for employability skills training, employment assistance and career coaching. Workforce partners with the three-county school systems to identify long-term employment opportunities and establish model training programs. Cutting-edge academies to support the utilities industry have been established at Marion Technical Institute and Bronson High School.
Job Corps
Job Corps is the nation's largest and most comprehensive residential education and job training program for at-risk youth, ages 16 through 24. Click here to learn more about Job Corps.

The Agency for Workforce Innovation Labor Market Statistics office provides a variety of labor market, economic, and demographic data such as:
  • Employment and Wages - current employment, projections, and wages by industry and occupation, occupational profiles, and career information.
  • Labor Force - labor force, employment, unemployment, and unemployment rates.
  • Economic Indicators - Florida Price Level Index, Consumer Price Index, income, and unemployment claims data.
  • Population - age, race, gender, income, veteran's status, and education information.
