JOB SEEKERS: Here is your chance to meet face-to-face with local employers who have jobs they need to fill.

BEFORE ATTENDING THE JOB FAIR: Complete a full application with the Employ Florida Marketplace at www.employflorida.com - be sure to include your resume and sign up for the Virtual Recruiter search tool.

DAY OF JOB FAIR: Bring multiple copies of your resume.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Attending the Job Fair will count as an Unemployment Compensation claimant‘s five required weekly job searches PROVIDED that the claimant signs in legibly so that Workforce Connection may give them the appropriate credit.

The dress code policy for the Job Fair will be enforced. Job seekers wearing flip flops, t-shirts, shorts or jeans with holes or rips will not be admitted. Please see the Dress for Success flier below for examples of appropriate attire.

If the Job Seeker does not have appropriate attire, we offer a CAREER CLOTHES CLOSET at our Marion County Resource Center, 2703 NE 14th St., in Ocala. If the job seeker‘s size is not available, Workforce Connection has partnered with Interfaith specifically for this event, allowing attendees to shop at Interfaith‘s free career boutique for two outfits – one for the job fair and one for an interview. In order to receive the service, job seekers must obtain authorization in advance from a Workforce Representative.
