EFM ESSENTIALS
Learn to master the essentials of the Employ Florida Marketplace to launch your job search.

This workshop is intended for the job seeker with little to no knowledge about the Employ Florida Marketplace (EFM). The following EFM functionalities will be reviewed:

Username and Password
Job Search Options
Resume Builder
Cover Letter
Labor Market Information
Assessment Options
Virtual Recruiter and
Calendar

NAIL THAT INTERVIEW
This workshop is designed for individuals who are committed to improving their interviewing skills. In the first part of the workshop, participants will review interviewing basics including the various types of interviews, interview preparation, dressing for success and to impress, and how to respond to the “tell me about yourself” question and behavioral questions. In the second part of the workshop, participants will be paired with a Workforce Connection employment specialist and experience a mock interview and receive suggestions on areas of improvement.

OPTIMAL RESUME
Get a hands-on introduction to the powerful, free Optimal Resume tool designed for those interested in advanced options for resume development and interview preparation. Participants will also learn about electronic resume portfolios, video resumes, and virtual interview resources.
